What is the Conan Exiles Battle Pass?

Greetings, Exiles! 

With update 3.0, Age of Sorcery, we’re upgrading the way we release both free and paid content. We are committed to developing Conan Exiles for ages to come, and with our system of Battle Passes, we can craft more evenly paced free content updates with an easier way for all of you to support the game’s growth and receive exclusive cosmetics. 

Conan Exiles Battle Pass is a storyline with 60 levels filled with rewards where you can progress by completing challenges.

Where can I find the Battle Pass?

The Battle Pass is available to all players, on all game modes: Singleplayer, Co-op, Official servers, and Private servers.

Once you are in-game, you can access it by toggling tabs in your character’s inventory or by pressing: B

How does the Battle Pass work?

Battle Passes will be centered around seasons, or Ages, introducing significant content updates starting with the Age of Sorcery!

• Ages will be divided into Chapters, each one introducing a new Battle Pass with new progression and cosmetic content to be unlocked.

• Every Age will also have its own theme, and will bring new, free playable content in the form of major game updates.

Unlock new items and cosmetics with the Battle Pass for free, or help support the game by purchasing the paid Battle Pass track with additional content and rewards.

Completing daily challenges will let you progress through the active Battle Pass.

What is the Battle Pass duration?

Each Battle Pass or “Chapter” from an Age should be roughly 91 days. Any changes to this will be fairly broadcasted on our social media channels.

What is the difference between the standard Battle Pass and the Premium Battle Pass?

Both Battle Passes provide access to all non-free rewards on the current Battle Pass, which you can then unlock and receive by completing challenges in-game. The Premium Battle Pass will additionally immediately complete 15 levels of the Battle Pass, unlocking their rewards so you can begin using them right away.

Make sure to choose the option that best suits your play style:

As the Premium Battle Pass includes 15 levels, please be aware that once you reach level 46 or higher in the Battle Pass you will no longer have the Premium Battle Pass as a purchase option.

 

Current known issue: purchasing the Premium version still requires a free-of-charge purchase of the default Battle Pass to start unlocking rewards.

How do I make purchases in the Battle Pass?

If you already have Crom Coins in your wallet, you can proceed by pressing the “Buy Battle Pass” button on Battle Pass’s tab:

You can then choose the option that best suits your play style.

If you don’t have sufficient funds in your wallet, you can purchase Crom Coins from this screen as well. 

Please note that if the button on the bottom-right still reads as “Buy Battle Pass” it means the purchase is still not complete.

Where can I find the items purchased in the Battle Pass?

All of the items and recipes you acquire in the Battle Pass remain attached to your account, on any server or game mode you play.

You can check your purchased items in-game by accessing the Knowledge page of any character you have and switching to the “Ancestral Knowledge” category.

How can I progress through the Battle Pass?

If you choose to progress through the standard Battle Pass track, you will be able to do so by completing challenges.

If you choose to purchase the Premium Battle Pass track, you will be able to do so by completing challenges as well as purchasing additional level skips with Crom Coins. Your purchase of the Premium Battle Pass includes 15-level skips, as well.

How do I purchase skip levels?

You can purchase skip levels through the Battle Pass page. Purchasing skip levels will enable you to unlock rewards immediately, so you can start using them right away.

How many skip levels can I buy?

If you purchase the Premium Battle Pass, you’ll receive 15 skip levels immediately which will unlock access to the next 15 levels of rewards in the Battle Pass.

Additional skip levels can also be purchased through the Battle Pass menu.

What happens when a given Chapter or Battle Pass is over?

Once a Chapter of the Battle Pass has ended, its associated track will become unavailable. Unlocked but unclaimed rewards won't be lost. They will get automatically claimed and displayed on a notification on the next access to the Battle Pass tab. Every Chapter or Battle Pass will be available for about 91 days.

How can I buy the next Battle Pass?

As part of your paid Battle Pass rewards, you’ll receive enough Crom Coins to purchase the next standard Battle Pass at no additional cost.

Please keep in mind, that if you choose to spend these Crom Coins on other items or rewards instead, they’ll no longer be available to purchase the next Battle Pass.

Where can I find the challenges?

Challenges are available to all players, on all game modes: Singleplayer, Co-op, Official servers, and Private servers.

While in-game, you can access Challenges by toggling tabs in your character’s inventory or by pressing N.

How do Challenges work?

Challenges are tasks you can complete in-game to receive Battle Pass XP. These can be anything from harvesting a specific resource, killing a type of monster, or visiting a specific point of interest on the map.

Every challenge will reward Battle Pass XP, with more XP provided for more difficult tasks.

Challenges are also designated as one of several rarities:

• Common

• Uncommon

• Rare

• Legendary

Certain challenges may appear more or less often than others depending on their rarity. The more rare a challenge is, the more XP it will provide when completed.

Up to five challenges are available at a time. Once a challenge is completed, the “Request New Challenge” button will change to “Claim Challenge.” Clicking this button will provide the associated XP and replace the completed challenge with a new one.

At the bottom of the window is the “Reroll Challenges” button. Clicking this button will reroll all five challenge slots at the same time. Please be aware, that you can not reroll challenges while a completed challenge is waiting to be claimed.

Three rerolls are available per day. Rerolls do not accumulate over time. Any unused rerolls will be lost during the daily reset, when they’re replaced with three new rerolls.

How do I know a challenge is complete?

You’ll receive a message in-game (similar to the “press E to interact” message) when you make progress towards completing a challenge. The same type of message will also appear when the challenge is completed.

While accessing the Challenges menu, you’ll also see the progression bar filled and a “Claim Reward” button:

Once you claim the challenge, you’ll see the Challenge XP bar update with your progress:

When the XP bar has filled up completely, your Battle Pass will level up and unlock the next reward.

When you visit the Battle Pass page, you can review and claim all rewards unlocked with the XP you gained by completing challenges:

Simply press “Claim all rewards” to unlock the new content, and enjoy!

How many challenges do I need to complete to level up on the Battle Pass?

The exact amount of XP received depends on the types of challenges you complete. Challenges are available in four rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary) which provide a base of 30 to 150 XP. On top of the challenge’s base reward, you can stack up to 20 XP multipliers.
If this is your first time purchasing the Battle Pass, you will start with 20 XP multipliers and you can use these daily.
Each time you do not have 20 XP multipliers, you will receive up to 5 additional multipliers until you are filled back up to the maximum amount of 20.

To progress to the next level of the Battle Pass, you’ll need to earn a total of 1000 XP. The more challenges you complete, the faster you will be able to finish the current Battle Pass.

What happens if I reroll challenges?

You can reroll all available challenges up to three times a day by using the “Reroll Challenges” button. Rerolling your challenges will provide five new challenges selected at random.

Challenges can not be rerolled while a completed challenge’s reward is pending.

If you reroll an in-progress challenge before completing it, its progress will be saved.

Battle Pass - Help/error messages

If you experience any issues with the Battle Pass, please first restart the game. After logging in again, if the issues persist you can submit a ticket for further assistance using the “Request Help” button on the menu.

Challenge XP bar may display the incorrect value on first login to Battle Pass Chapter 2
You may see when you first log in into chapter 2 and navigate to the Battle Pass page, that the experience bar will display an incorrect value, despite you being level 1.

1. Navigate to the challenges or bazaar page and back again and the value will reset visually to it’s correct number.
2.  You can also fully close and restart the game. Then, try again.

I bought the Battle Pass, but I still can’t claim rewards.

If you’re unable to claim the first level of non-free Battle Pass rewards after purchasing the Battle Pass, please first try the following:

1. Wait up to 10 minutes for the system to finish validating your purchase, and then try again.

2. Fully close and restart the game. Then, try again.

If waiting 10 minutes and restarting the game does not help, and you still can not access your Battle Pass content, please contact Support for further assistance using the “Request Help” option in the in-game menu.

I bought the Premium Battle Pass, but I still can’t claim rewards.

If you’re unable to claim Battle Pass rewards after purchasing the Premium Battle Pass, please first try the following:

1. If the button still reads as “Buy Battle Pass” please complete the purchase free of charge of the default Battle Pass.

2. Wait up to 10 minutes for the system to finish validating your purchase, and then try again.

3. Fully close and restart the game. Then, try again.

Current known issue: purchasing the Premium version still requires a free-of-charge purchase of the default Battle Pass to start unlocking rewards.

If the button on the bottom-right reads “Buy level unlocks” your Battle Pass purchase was successful. As shown in the next image:

If after performing all the suggested steps you still can't access your Battle Pass content, please contact Support for further assistance using the “Request Help” option in the in-game menu.

Can I gift a friend with Crom Coins?

Crom Coins are purchased through your platform’s store with real money. As such, they are specific to your account and can not be gifted or traded with other players.
